Meet TCKC'S Owners:

Jessica Adams                                                     Celina Do Souto 

 

 Who are we?

TCKC was formed in June 2023, by Jessica Adams & Celina Do Souto. Born out of a mutual love of all things cake and the finer arts of Pastry. 

 Running their small business within a separate kitchen space inside Radius restaurant on Hess, the young entrepreneurs specialize in custom European inspired cakes.  

They want to bring their creations and your visions to life for your most special occasions. Because dessert brings some of the most nostalgic and sweet memories!

You can order a cake from them or dine-in Radius to enjoy their desserts made specially for the restaurant.

 

Their stories 

Jessica:

Jessica's love of the arts started at the young age of 5 as she explored the various mediums art had to offer, traditional drawing & painting, music, dance, and at around 15, became engrossed in the Culinary Arts.

She taught herself how to channel her creativity into baking and pastry items before attending Pastry School to further her skills professionally.

In 2020 she started working for radius as their in house pastry chef. The company encouraged her aspiring visions of entrepreneurship. She formed great relationships within the 3 years she worked with them. An opportunity arose for her to step up and start on her journey towards starting up her vision. Now partnered with Radius, she operates within them and runs her own business alongside her business partner, Celina.

Her favourite thing about this field is "Being able to infuse my need to create things into tasty and beautiful treats that bring joy to the customer."

Celina: 

Celina started her career in the Culinary world after a taste of the creativity that it has to offer. One of her fondest memories of baking goes back to a blue fish cake her and her mom made for her 8th birthday.
After changing career paths she enrolled into college and graduated with a diploma in Culinary Management. She quickly realized during her work placement that the pastry world was where she wanted to be.
Choosing to stay on the sweet side of the culinary world led her to a bakery. In 2019 she met Jessica at the same bakery! Working with Jessica led them both to their shared vision. And currently, they stand side by side as they work towards completing their goals.
Her favourite thing about this field is "the hands on nature, the creativity and the connections built by it."

The Mission

The mission is to educate and provide the quality and experience cakes should have to Hamilton & surrounding regions, ON, Canada. They Plan to grow and expand only until their unique skills and talents are being utilized to the fullest. They have a desire to allow the locals to enjoy the fruits of their diligent labor.
